Welcome to the wonderful story of David and Goliath contained in "The Slingshot Heard 'Round the World". Told with creativity and humor, this musical seeks to show children that "God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart." (I Samuel 16:7b The Message) Children will also learn that though life will confront them with many fears, like David they can take positive, faith-filled action to conquer their fears and their foes!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
April 3, 2010
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Regency Park Church of the Nazarene
There will be Easter egg hunts for all ages, balloons, candy, free bunny photos, jupiter jumps, and a raffle. There will also be drawings for Easter baskets. Just fill out a registration card and you will be contacted if you win.

Kid's Mission's Day

The cost is $2.00 per child and it is for children ages Kindergarten - 6th Grade. Learn about missions thru games, snacks, crafts and music. The missionary speakers are Dan & Michelle Lepley from the Dominican Republic.
The cost will be paid for by Regency Park's Children's Ministries and the church van will leave from Regency Park at 8:30 a.m.

District Training Event

This is for anyone who works with children. The fee is $10 (includes lunch from Rib Crib) and if you register with Diana Harkins by April 14th our Children's Ministry will take care of the fee for you. I encourage all of our Sunday school teachers and Caravan leaders, and all of our volunteers to attend this training. You will receive wonderful information that can be put to use right here at Regency Park.

Quizzing
Starting July 28, 2010
Wednesdays - 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Regency 20/20 Children's Department
Quizzing has come back to Regency Park! It started July 28th on Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8 pm but will move to Sunday afternoons August 29th from 3 - 4:30 pm.
The children will be studying 1 & 2 Samuel, "Live for the King."
Quizzing is for children 1st grade through 6th grade.

Our children will be enlisting into the Army of God during this summer program. They will be learning about arming themselves and always being ready to fight the enemy.

Santa Bowed at Christmas

The children of the city have gathered to talk about what they want for Christmas as they get ready to visit Santa at a department store. But when Santa seems distraught, not knowing the true meaning of Christmas, the children stage an impromptu Christmas pageant to tell him the real story.
